Chinyero Norte - San Jose

Mixing three types of terrain, there will never be a dull moment on this map.

Fast and empty areas can be found close to the lava flow of Arenas Negras.
Some steep (but fast) hills can be expected in Chinyero Norte. Take it easy!
The old farmland area is extremely fast (as long as you don't get stuck in the labyrinthine bushes)
San Jose has its fair share of areas where runnability is reduced by rocky and uneven ground.

About the Map

The expansive forest region of Chinyero Norte - San Jose stretches between the town of San Jose de Los Llanos and the Arenas Negras lava flow. With its diverse terrain, you'll need to stay prepared for constant changes as you navigate.

While parts of the lower terrain near San Jose, characterized by rocks and dense vegetation, can slow you down and make orienteering more challenging, the true appeal of this map lies in its dynamic landscape. The scenery shifts quickly—from rugged and overgrown areas to open, fast pine forests. As you ascend, the rocky sections become less common, revealing some of Tenerife’s finest orienteering zones.
