Las Lajas

Highest of them all, Las Lajas welcomes orienteers to new heights.

Visibility and runnability are great outside of the steepest slopes.
Some rocks can be found from the surface, especially in the more detailed areas.

About the Map

Las Lajas is at the highest of our maps with its highest point at stunning 2250m above sea level. If you somehow didn't feel the lack of oxygen on our other maps, this is where you'll feel it for sure.

As a orienteering map Las Lajas is quite ideal: runnability is mostly good and vegetation is typical for this altitude creating a very open landscape. There are however a lot of small landforms that demand very precice orienteering skills. The map is essentially just one big, sometimes quite steep slope, so combine this with the altitude and you have a very challenging map both physically and technically.
